In my clinical practice (English – French), I receive adolescents, adults and families seeking advice and counseling, as well as longer term psychotherapy. There are many reasons why a person, a couple or a family may consult a psychotherapist… life transitions, traumatic events, relationship challenges, or striving for personal growth. Whether it is just a few counselling sessions or more longer term, psychotherapy helps gain valuable insights, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance the emotion, mental and physical well-being of all involved. Research shows that the quality of the connection with the psychotherapist -the therapeutic alliance- is an essential ingredient for meaningful change. My integrative clinical approach aims at ensuring this trusting relationship in a secure space.

In my forensic practice as an independent expert, I place a very high value on responding to the requests from judges to carry out evaluations on complex individual and familial situations.
- Some cases relate to the credibility of children alleging that they have been sexually abused or maltreated.
- Other cases involve high-conflict parental separation or divorce and seek to provide guidance on what the best interests of the children may be with regard to visitation or custody arrangements.
- Sometimes the evaluations are all about one or both parents’ mental issues that interfere with their capacity to care appropriately for their children.
More often than not, these court-ordered evaluations can have positive effects and benefit everyone involved.
In the course of my career as a forensic psychologist, I founded the Swiss Society of Legal Psychology and organized the first accredited training courses of Swiss forensic psychologists.
